History of KJMS

Kung Jung Mu Sul is Korean for Traditional Royal Court Martial Arts. A lethal system of self-defense whose origins can be traced back to the three original martial arts systems of Korea. Kung Jung Mu Sul – Royal Court Martial Arts. Bulkyo Mu Sul – Buddhist Martial Arts. Sado Mu Sul – Tribal Martial Arts.

Kung Jung Mu Sul is a comprehensive martial arts system dealing with both single and multiple attackers utilizing a vast array of kicking, in-close striking, joint lock manipulation, grappling and weapon techniques from both the standing and ground positions.

Who we are

The world of martial arts can be complex and range in a variety of instruction. We believe in learning through positive communication and engaging environment. Our school is heavily focused on building strong character and leadership.

We focus on the ‘who’ you are becoming and translate powerful values in a way each age group can mentally process it. Martials arts lessons translate far beyond the mat and can be carried into real world scenarios that stan the test of time.

Meet our Head Instructor

Mr. Aaron Delagarza

Head Instructor and Owner of KJMS Rogers Ranch, Mr. Aaron Delagarza has a lifetime of martial arts training. Born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, Mr. Aaron started his journey at 7 years old in Kung Jung Mu Sul and Tae Kwon Do.

Teaching over 300 active students weekly, Mr. Aaron was the head instructor at the original San Antonio branch of Kung Jung Mu Sul Texas. Mr. Aaron has worked closely with Grand Master Soon Tae Yang at the World KJMS headquarters in San Francisco, California. He has taught KJMS classes in South Korea and across the United States as a consultant, assisting school owners in their curriculum development. Following that role, Mr. Aaron became an accomplished Corporate America business professional. He held a director position for a global technology company, where he led and trained a large team across the United States.

Now returning to his roots of martial arts and love for teaching, Mr. Aaron is a ‘true product of the product’. He embodies the powerful values instilled in martial arts and inspires his students to always do their best. As a father, he has learned to not only be motivating, but also supportive, positive and encouraging in the methods and principles. He is a firm believer in the investment of martial arts training through childhood and beyond. Off the mat, he enjoys spending time with his family and continued mastery of personal development.
